Kevin McCarthy is a Seattle area based painter and sculptor with over three decades of studio practice. BFA in Painting and Printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute.
He works across painting, sculpture, and mixed media — drawn to form, structure, and the tension between precision and intuition. His work has been exhibited locally and nationally, including at The Museum of Flight and Art in Great Places in Everett, and has been featured in The Stranger, Seattle Weekly, and City Arts.
Originally from Chicago, transplanted to the Pacific Northwest in 1996.
